Merck Manuals has an overarching mission of making medical knowledge accessible worldwide. A pillar of that mission is supporting medical professionals and students in their pursuit of knowledge. While the professional manual itself provides extensive information for this audience, on social media we wanted to provide a bit of fun and whimsy while also contributing to this journey of learning. This series of short animations does just that—using the popular tool of mnemonic devices, paired with relevant animations to add a layer of visual cue as a tool of memorization. The series has been so consistently high performing for Merck Manuals’ social pages that it has continued to this day, since its conception in 2018.
